The Best Time To Ask For Sex, According To A New Study
This is the sexiest time of the week, apparently.
I assume that at any given time, someone nearby is having sex. I also live in a development of town homes and I would like to think that the deed is going down in at least one house on every street, no matter what time of the day.
However, according to a new study, people tend to get frisky at certain times and days of the week and not others.
Is it possible that exactly nobody in my neighborhood is getting a morning romp in at the crack of dawn? The answer might be maybe since Sunday morning at 9 AM is the most common time to have sex.
This sexy study was done in Britain by Superdrug. Researchers asked 2,000 people to list their top ten times and days for having sex.
While couples had an overwhelming love for Sunday mornings, many found that Friday and Saturday nights were also prime time for a little horizontal tango. Here is the list of the most popular days and times.
- Sunday, 9:00 AM
- Saturday, 10:30 PM
- Saturday, 11:30 PM
- Friday, 10:30 PM
- Saturday, 10:30 AM
- Saturday, 11:30 AM
- Friday, 10:30 PM
- Saturday, 11:15 PM
- Saturday, 9:30 PM
- Sunday, 9:30 PM
It appears that people like having sex around similar times. I’m no expert but it seems that these times and days of the week are when people are most relaxed, less stressed and don’t have a whole lot to do. Hey, my sex life correlates pretty well to the study’s results, too.
The study went a little bit further by finding out which days and times people did not like to have sex. In order of least favorite, those are:
- Monday, 4:45 PM
- Monday, 3:00 PM
- Tuesday, 5:30 PM
- Tuesday, 9:00 PM
- Thursday, 8:00 AM
- Thursday, 1:30 PM
- Monday, 8:00 AM
- Wednesday, 7:30 AM
- Friday, 5:00 PM
- Saturday, 5:00 PM
This all makes me feel a whole lot better about slacking on the sexy time during the week. I have a lot to do, so why not save it for the weekends? Everyone else seems to be.
