This Guy Got His Testicle Stuck In An IKEA Chair And OUCH That Looks Painful
This complaint may have been a new one for IKEA.
Of course this would happen. Why wouldn’t it? Putting his new IKEA stool in the shower, this Norwegian man wasn’t prepared for the events that followed.
Claus Jørstad, a 45-year-old from Norway, took to his Facebook page to complain about his harrowing mishap. In his complaint, Jørstad tells the tale of his shower, during which one of his testicles got caught in the small hole of the Ikea Marius chair.
According to The Daily Dot, who translated the Facebook conversation to English, Jørstad said that he put the stool in the shower so that he could sit on it during his wash. It wasn’t until he tried to stand up that he realized he was stuck.
"Sitting there and noticing the accident, I bent down to see what the f*ck happened, I realized the little nutter has got stuck," HE said.
Because of the hot water, his private bits had expanded and after the water became suddenly cold, he suffered from a little shrinkage, causing his (skipper and two boatmen, as he calls them) to change sizes.
"The water turned cold by itself. So I started freezing. The water got cold. Even more cold than my mother-in-law’s smile when I married her daughter," said Jørstad.
What I love best about this story is that the complaint is not typical of the usual pissed off customer. Involved in a little back-and-forth with the Norwegian IKEA, it seems that Jørstad has no problem poking fun at himself, even eluding that the issue might have been his fault.
Ikea even responded in jest, saying, "Hey Claus. We recommend that you take the stool out of the shower... if you choose to keep it in the shower, make sure you are well dressed for your next sea excursion."
They even made some suggestions like using the stool outside of the shower to hold a flower pot instead. Jørstad decided to keep the stool in the shower but said that he would place a towel over the holes to avoid an injury to his boatmen in the future. He even named his towel the "weinermonkey."
Eventually, though, he decided to move the stool to another location in the house where it would be better used. While he didn’t ask for a refund, he did inquire with IKEA to see if the stool came in yellow.
