Did Honey Boo Boo's Mama June Use A FAT SUIT In Her New Reality Show?
What the heck is going on?
Fans of “Mama” June Shannon of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fame tuned in last night to her new reality show on WeTV: Mama June: From Not to Hot.
We were all excited to see her journey from 460 pounds to a size FOUR!
In what’s supposed to be a seven episode documentary, Mama June transforms her body and mind with gastric sleeve surgery, dieting, and a personal trainer.
Inspired to do so by the upcoming nuptials of her ex, Sugar Bear, Mama seemed determined to look good for the wedding.
But … is this all a sham?
Twitter users claim that Mama June was wearing a fat suit!
I don't usually enjoy reading hashtags for lolz, but #MamaJune...
1) Degrading storyline.
2) Everyone noticed she's wearing a fatsuit. pic.twitter.com/DLFOsIXqfD— (((Kieran))) (@KieranStrange) February 25, 2017

WAIT! Hold up! Is this true?
Apparently, viewers are speculating that Mama June had already lost all the weight prior to filming, and is using a fat suit and prosthetic make up to build interest AND build her audience.
Obviously, we won’t know for sure until someone behind the scenes speaks up or we see a Michael Jackson moment where her nose actually falls off. Not that I WANT to see that, but at least we’d have some answers, right?
In an exclusive interview with Too Fab, Mama June said, "I just decided it was time for a change, to be more healthy and to do something for myself because I do so much for everybody else ... At first, people were saying, 'You're losing weight, you look great' and I just ran with it.”
She added, "I hope that somebody will realize that's going through the same weight loss struggles that they're not alone and realize it's not all peaches and cream," she said. "I hope one person gets something out of it, that they realize the struggles are really real. I'd tell people who are struggling with weight, just take it one day at a time. You can't just give up because it seems like the easy way to go. Trust me, I wanted to give up several times through this journey.”
So if the rumors are true, this would be disheartening. It’s one thing to want to inspire people on their own weight loss journeys, but to lie on camera and deceive the viewers kind of defeats the purpose.
We can only hope that Mama June IS actually playing it real on TV, and that her hard work will inspire others.
