Why You're TERRIBLE At Love, According To Your Zodiac Sign

Are you an expert at love or should you get a lot better at it? As much as we may long for it, crave it, and devote our lives to finding it, no one is perfect at love. In fact, much of the time, we are bad at love.

Think of what it’s like when you’re at the beginning of a love relationship — how many missteps and mistakes do you make? You try so hard to be cool, open and sophisticated, acting as if you know what you’re doing every step of the way, but you still will do something inappropriate, embarrassing, and awkward. Then, when you’re starting to get to know someone and you open up emotionally, there continues to be the danger of you screwing things up in a big way. But you continue — you have to know that your heart is involved.

Are you any better at love when you’re at the end of it? Not necessary; we continue to grow and make mistakes, but hopefully, the love has grown stronger and can hold up to our failures and errors.

The truth is we are all bad at love almost all the time, but that’s ultimately how we keep things fresh and interesting in our relationships. If we were perfect at love, we’d be boring and predictable. If we didn’t make mistakes, we wouldn’t grow and we'd just be stagnant and unchanging.

We change the way we express and deal with our emotions as we age. You don’t feel love the same way at 40 that you did at 16. Love changes and we change and no matter how proficient you get at it, you’re still going to mess up.
