How You Really Talk To People, According To Your Zodiac Sign

Knowing how to have a conversation is one of the most important skills we can have. Think about it: if you can't carry on a conversation, how can you date or negotiate?

Whenever something important needs to be decided, you have a conversation about it. When you want to get to know someone, you talk and see what things you have in common or if you have the same values. You have to know how to have a conversation in order to get by in the world.

There are many different ways to have a conversation. You can talk to someone in person, via Skype, on the phone, or even by text. Of course, when you have a conversation in real time with sound, you can hear things like tone and inflection that also give meaning to a conversation.

When you're sitting with someone talking, ideally, you're having eye contact and are present in the conversation, and understanding is passing between the two of you.

There are four crucial parts of a conversation: What we say, how we say it, when we say it, and whether we're talking with someone or at someone. Conversation is where we manage our relationships, solve problems, come up with solutions, and process information.

It can be very frustrating if you're trying to have a conversation and you can't engage the person you're speaking to. Or, on the flip side, when you completely click with the person you're talking to and get energized by speaking to them.

Good conversation can be as exciting as foreplay in some cases. For some people, they need to warm up in a conversation, sometimes out of reserve or shyness until they feel comfortable enough to really express themselves.

We express our emotions like anger, happiness, surprise, or sadness. Everything we feel as humans can be expressed through conversation. And how you converse may have a lot to do with the zodiac sign you were born under, as the stars have a lot of influence over our personalities. Here's what each zodiac sign is like in conversation.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Aries have such strong personalities and opinions that talking with them is a two-way street. You either mesh completely and agree on everything or they can't stand you. They like it best if your opinions match up with theirs.

Taurus love to talk and have meaningful conversations. However, Taureans can be stubborn, so if you disagree with them, they'll dig their heels in and will refuse to give in. It's impossible to try to change a Taurus' mind if they're not willing to see things from your point of view.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

If you have a problem and desperately need to talk about it with someone, Cancer is here for you. They're great listeners and have a lot of empathy so they understand what you're going through. Be prepared to return the favor, as Cancers have lots of emotions and need to let them out on occasion.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

If a Virgo ever tells you, "I'm going to be a little more outspoken," run for the hills. They're already extremely opinionated and love to share their views on everything with anyone who will listen. But if a Virgo wants to give you some constructive criticism, take it; their intentions are good, they aren't just talking out of their ass, and they have the research to back it up.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Libras are great to talk to as they're very understanding and can see things from your point of view.
