BREAKING: Harriet Tubman Will Replace Andrew Jackson On The $20 Bill
A win for all women.
Ever notice how there are only white men from throughout history on American currency? Though many were great men who were responsible for bringing about change in America, like Abraham Lincoln or Benjamin Franklin, we can't say the same about the $20 bill. We have Andrew Jackson — a man known for his violent tendencies who used slavery as a source of his wealth — on the $20 bill.
But luckily, things will change soon. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced that Jackson will be replaced by Harriet Tubman. Though, Alexander Hamilton will remain on the $10 bill.
Unfortunately, Jackson may remain on the back of the $20 bill, but that's not to say that there aren't more changes coming. Lew said the treasury will be putting leaders of the women's suffrage movement on the back of the $10 bill, as well as civil rights leaders and other historical moments on the back of the $5 bill.

The only problem we have with this is that the changes won't take place until about 2030. Is there any reason to think that paper bills won't become obsolete by that time?
Either way, we're definitely looking forward to not only having women represented on currency, but African Americans and important historical events as well.
