20 Celebrities Who Were Yanked Out Of The Closet
Kevin Spacey isn't the only star who got supposedly outed against his will.
In his new book, Andy Cohen apparently outs Kevin Spacey as gay. I doubt anyone read this and had a life changing moment. It's still pretty rude, though, because Spacey has never publicly come out of the closet.
Whether or not it's "obvious," it's still his private life and his own business. Whatever he chooses to disclose with the public is his choice. This wasn't necessarily a well kept secret in the first place, but it was still a secret and Kevin Spacey's wishes should have been honored. In all honesty, outing Kevin Spacey is like telling a little kid that there's no Santa Claus. You're not accomplishing anything other than ruining someone's day.
Spacey isn't the first celebrity to get pulled out of the closet. You may be surprised to find this out, but there are a lot of gay people in the entertainment industry. Since they live in the public eye, not everyone is comfortable letting that information out. Also, even though it's dumb, being gay can effect what roles an actor is offered, so many stay in the closet for career reasons. Here are 20 celebrities that were outed against their will.
Matt Bomer
When photos of Matt Bomer making out with another man were released, he admitted to being gay. At that point, it wasn't so much as coming out of the closet as it was admitting that he was standing ten feet away from the closet. It was also a lot of straight guys breathing a sigh of relief, because, well, look at Matt Bomer. My girlfriend would leave me for that dude in a minute, and I couldn't even get mad at her for it.

The news anchor was in the closet for quite sometime and there were constant rumors about his sexuality. Lee Pace
Ian McKellan accidentally outed this fellow actor in an interview talking about "The Hobbit". McKellan said the following quote about Pace, "I would say that has been done in this regard in the last ten years in the industry a lot. Just look only how many openly gay actors in the 'Hobbit' with were: two of the dwarves, to Luke Evans, Stephen Fry, Lee Pace. In 'The Lord of the Rings' I was the only one next to it there was my make-up artist and one from the wardrobe team. That's only once a progress, right?" Right except Lee Pace isn't out yet. Whoops!
