Jimmy Kimmel Picks Catherine Giudici As 'Bachelor' Winner
And we agree!
Jimmy Kimmel has a pretty solid batting average when it comes to predicting whom the Bachelor and the Bachelorette will bless (or curse, depending on how you look at it) with the final rose.
Last season, the funnyman correctly guessed floppy Bachelor Ben Flajnik's final four and that he would ultimately pop the question to loathed contestant Courtney Robertson. Kimmel was also right about three out of four of Bachelorette Emily Maynard's final four, and somehow he knew Bachelorette Ashley Hebert would find true love with J.P. Rosenbaum, who she married in an ABC televised special in 2012.
This season, Kimmel has already accurately selected Sean Lowe's final four—AshLee, Lindsay, Desiree and Catherine—so will his hunch that Sean will propose to Seattle graphic designer Catherine Giudici ring true? The odds are in her favor. As revealed on the "Bachelor Tells All" episode, Catherine sends Sean nerdy notes and has an irreverent sense of humor. "I dig that about her," he gushed.
Critics, however, contend that Kimmel's winning insight is because his staff reads the spoilers found on the popular Reality Steve blog. In a Nov. 26, 2012 post, writer Steve Carbone declared, "Sean is engaged to Catherine and you will see that play out when the finale airs in March." Say it's not true, Kimmel!
Red rose psychic or not, we're still backing the host's choice. (And psst: In other Jimmy Kimmel news, mark your calendars for March 11-15. Justin Timberlake—who recently ended his own bachelor days—is set to appear each night that week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his new album, The 20/20 Experience.)
Do you agree with Jimmy Kimmel's prediction? Will Sean pick Catherine?
