5 Sweet Things John Krasinski Has Said About Wife Emily Blunt
The real-life Jim Halpert is just as sweet when it comes to the woman he loves!
John Krasinski may consider himself an average, goofy kind of guy, but I think I speak for all women when I say he's an absolute dream date.
Not only is the 33-year-old Office star ridiculously funny and super handsome, but you can just tell he's one of the good ones. In fact, one of the most adorable things about him is his love for wife Emily Blunt. While the celeb couple mostly keep their personal life private (take a hint, Hollywood!), John just loves to gush about Emily, which makes him all the more crush-worthy. He was on Today earlier this week and of course, couldn't resist telling Matt Lauer all about his lovely partner.
Here are 5 sweet things John has said about their relationship in the past:
1. On meeting her:
"It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I'm going to take my time in L.A. Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, 'Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.' As I shook her hand I went, 'I like you.'" [Ellen]
2. On their first date:
"[She was] incredibly intimidating. I was scared out of my mind to even go up and say 'Hi' to her. I think that I was so sure that I would never end up with her because she'd be like 'This is ridiculous, I can have anyone, not you. I was like, 'I'm going to blow it right away and then that way you don't feel bad.'" [Conan]
3. On attending their first red carpet together:
"You're like, 'Boy, I wonder who she's going to date starting tomorrow... because it sure as sh*t ain't going to be me.'" [C Magazine]
4. On the proposal:
"It was very casual. I was nervous and the whole nine yards. She did cry after I cried and we cried and then everyone around us was crying. Then, I think people weren’t really sure what was going on, but they were crying because we were crying. But it was great. At the end of the day she said yes which is great. It’s a big part of this whole thing." [Access Hollywood]
5. On why he's grateful for his job:
"I wouldn't have met my wife. I wouldn't have been out in L.A. Truly, when I say the show has given me everything, it's given me everything." [TODAY]
Swoon! We're pretty certain the feeling is mutual! Emily recently told Manhattan magazine that her marriage is "an effing blast." See guys, real love does exist!
