Only a few weeks ago, Jennifer Lopez was gushing about her marriage to Marc...What went wrong?
If Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's recent announcement that they are planning to divorce after seven years of marriage came as a surprise to you, you're not alone. Only a few weeks ago, J.Lo gave an interview to Latina Magazine, gushing about how she and Marc "love each other, more than anything."
"Marc and I really do understand each other. We know each other's hopes and dreams, we know each other's strengths, we also know each other's weaknesses, so in a way, we're the best gauge of how we can be the best in everything that we do," she said to the magazine, reports HollywoodLife.com.

According to TheSuperficial.com, Jennifer was reportedly always suspicious that Marc was cheating on her. Even back in 2008, she supposedly was keeping tabs on him and having her employees report back on his behavior while he was out on tour. (The fact that he was rumored to have cheated on his first wife, Dayana Torres, probably weighed on J.Lo's mind as well.)
Still, there's a report that Jennifer may have been the one who strayed in the marriage. Some gossip sites are claiming that Jennifer may have gotten hot and heavy, both on-camera and off, with telenovela star William Levy, who appeared in her "I'm Into You" music video.
Regardless of who did the dumping, however, what's clear is that their marriage went downhill quickly and that fidelity wasn't the only issue the couple grappled with:
"Marc is very controlling. In the beginning she liked that because he stood up to her, and in the early days he was very much in love with her and she was with him," said Jennifer's hairstylist to the Daily Mail.
"They also clashed when she learned he owed millions in unpaid taxes on the Long Island estate," said another source. "The other problem was that they couldn’t agree where to live. J.Lo's career is in Hollywood and she wanted to live in their Malibu mansion and Marc loved New York. She was going to move to New York in a last-ditch effort to save the marriage.
