In case you didn't know, AskMen's poll-takers are urged to keep a plethora of qualities in mind when choosing their top ladies. While looks most definitely reign supreme (who are we kidding?), intelligence, talent and character are also meant to be kept in consideration.

2011's results come with a twist, however. This year marks the 10-year-anniversary of the site's Top 99, which makes for some interesting cocktail party statistics about the changeable and universal appeal of celebrities. For starters, who knew Beyonce would dark horse her way past the rest and come out as the most desirable woman of the decade? Not only has she been featured on the top 99 all 10 years, she even came out as #1 in 2007. Go Bey. The only other two women who managed to make the list for an entire decade? Angelina Jolie and Gisele Bundchen.

Below is the list of winners and a few universal truths we found to be apparent.

1.) Gentlemen prefer brunettes: Regardless of the fact that sunny, California blond Blake Lively got the top seat this year, of the top 99, 70 were brunettes. In fact, the list only had 27 blonds and 2 redheads. Further proof the buxom blonde is working its way out of vogue? Pamela Anderson, Jessica Simpson Britney Spears and Heidi Klum, staples in years past, were suspiciously absent. In their place? Newcomers like Megan Fox, Lea Michele and Don Draper's dark-haired wife du jour, Jessica Pare (10).

2.) Gentlemen prefer unmarried ladies: This may or may not have been an unconscious factor when voting, but only two in the top ten (Katy Perry and Miranda Kerr) are married, and only married this past year. In fact, three of the top ten are divorced: Scarlett Johansson (7), Sofia Vergara (3) and Cheryl Cole (6), while Mila Kunis recently split from her long-term boyfriend (Macaulay Culkin) and winner Blake Lively broke up with Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgely several months ago.

3.) Gentlemen are tiring of the Kardashians? Open a web browser, drive past a newsstand or turn on a TV and it's likely you'll catch a glimpse of at least one omnipresent Kardashian. While Kourtney and Khloe didn't make the top 99, Kim dropped from her top spot of #28 to #45 this year.

4.) Gentleman aren't likely to judge your formal education: Well, at least not on surveys like this. Only 19 of the top 99 have college degrees (which, in all fairness, says more about show biz than men).

5.) Gentleman prefer when she's in her late 20s: The average age of all the top 99? 28. But proving age ain't nothing but a number, 44-year-old Halle Berry is a still a crowd pleaser as is 40-year-old Padma Lakshmi. Not to mention a few slightly uncomfortable choices like 19-year-old Pixie Lott and 20-year-olds Emma Watson and Kristen Stewart.
