A former participant on ABC's Wife Swap is out on bail after an arrest for stabbing her husband. According to Snarkfood.com, New Jersey resident Jamie Czerniawski cut husband Charles Czerniawski with a kitchen knife after an argument. The former Miss Teen New Jersey claims that she used the weapon in self-defense as her husband attacked her over some flirty text messages were seen on her phone.

If you're a fan of the show Wife Swap, you'll recognize the Czerniawskis from the 2006 season. As you may recall, she traded places with heavily tattooed carnival performer Anna Kinison and some shenanigans ensued. But the real fireworks took place over Labor Day weekend. According to Jamie Czerniawski, Charles became very jealous after she received a call from a male friend at 1 AM. She said that he grabbed her and she feared for her life.

After the gouging, Charles spent two days in the ICU and lost four pints of blood. It's said that he has yet to regain full use of his right arm. Initially, Jamie didn't claim self-defense because she "didn't want him to get in trouble." Since the incident, both parties have taken out restraining orders against each other. One would guess that this probably means they won't be invited back to Wife Swap but should consider swapping for let turbulent spouses.

According to the New York Post (congrats to them for managing to rhyme 'swap' with 'chop'), the mother of three was exchanging sexually explicit text messages with firefighter Michael Biserta. Biserta was on last year's cover of the shirtless 2008 New York fire department calendar and actually got starkers for the 2004 DVD classic Guys Gone Wild. The most recent text arrived ten hours before Jamie Czerniawski got stabby.

Biserta is engaged to be married a little over one year from now and had no comment and it doesn't appear that any carnies were involved in the wounding.
