Alyson Hannigan Hates Kissing TV Hubby
She finds Jason Segel's smoking off-putting.
Alyson Hannigan is a lot of things. One of them is not a fan of smokers. Evidently, she has to kiss TV husband Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) and does not care of his bad breath. Duly noted.
I'mNotObsessed had a nice pick up for today's How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) premiere; Alyson Hannigan does not care for kissing her tv husband Jason Segel. Evidently, Segel is a smoker and as someone once said it's like kissing an ashtray. We're not sure what kissing an ashtray would be like, but we are reasonably sure that it's a big bummer.
The new season of HIMYM starts tonight and Hannigan and Segel star as the show's sexed-up married couple. In fact, more or less every character is sexed up to some degree (with 1 guest star as the exception that proves the rule). We suppose that's how New Yorkers in their late 20s roll (hopefully sans the halitosis). Despite it's sexual content, the show doesn't seem to feature a lot of kissing (it's primetime and it's network TV) but it does make us wonder about on-camera kissing (and more) in general.
Alyson Hannigan has had to do a fair amount of kissing in her entertainment career. Her character punched Jason Biggs' v-card and ushered in the semi-catch phrase "This one time at band camp…" in American Pie. She later kidded a girl (and presumably didn't find the situation entirely unpleasant) in a very special coming out arc of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (we're beginning to think that show wasn't about vampires at all). And finally, she smooched Jamie Pressly in a gag kiss scene in Not Another Teen Movie (a send-up of Sarah Michelle Gellar kissing Selma Blair in Cruel Intentions).
As for the other stuff, even Daniel Craig felt a little uncomfortable doing sex scenes for the new Bond film in front of complete strangers according to One India. We heard somewhere that Stanley Kubrick excused the crew during Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's sex scenes in Legs Wide Open Eyes Wide Shut. That and a couple of cocktails (ala Neve Campbell and Denise Richards in Wild Things) can go a long way.
