About Kimberly Zapata
Kimberly Zapata is a professional writer and copyeditor. While her primary focus is mental health and motherhood, she has authored pieces on everything from human sexuality and body modification to creative nonfiction and product descriptions.
Kimberly is a regular contributor for Sammiches and Psych Meds and her work has been featured on numerous websites and online publications, including Huff Post, Scary Mommy, Mamalode, Bonbon Break, The Good Men Project, and APIARY. She is also the former editor-in-chief for The Point: the Quarterly Journal of the Association of Professional Piercers (2012-15), and one of her stories, “Number 148,” was even adapted into a short film (2011).
