How You Will Die, According To Your Astrological Chart & Zodiac Sign
Are you brave enough to find out?
Have you ever heard of medical astrology and how it can predict your death using your birth chart, horoscope, and zodiac sign?
No pun intended, but most people are scared to death of the Grim Reaper. Depending on where you went to church when you were young, you may believe that after living life, there's nothing after death. Or, you may believe you will be judged by an angry God, who will send you to hell if you weren’t good enough in this life.
Astrology, your zodiac sign, your horoscope chart, and the tarot hold a much different message, which may be why organized religion takes a dim view of these occult studies.
According to astrology, no God planned our life here — we did.
Our souls decided what they wanted to experience and learn while we’re here in this life, and while we had guidance from God and from older souls as we planned our stay here, they didn’t make us do anything.
When we pass away, so the lore goes, we will stand before these older, more enlightened souls to review our lives and decide if we are happy with our choices: whether or not we learned what we came to learn, and grew in the ways we intended.
Where the nodes of the Moon fall in your birth chart says a lot about what you learned in your past lives and what you intended to learn when you live your life in this one.
But, before we undergo that process of deep learning, we have to go through the portal: death, itself.
A lot of us are terrified about that, because, as we all know, dying isn’t always a peaceful process. Our astrological charts do comment on how we’re likely to die. In order to find these indicators in your astrological chart, however, you don’t look at your Sun sign!
One school of thought tells us that the sign your imum coeli falls in foretells the circumstances of death. The other holds that this information is more readily revealed by the sign the cusp of the eighth house falls in, and the sign the planet Pluto is found in.
If you haven’t read much about astrological signs and horoscopes, no doubt you’re thoroughly confused now! Never fear! I’m going to show you my late husband’s chart to help you pinpoint these areas.
To find them in your own chart, you need a good free online site and your accurate birth date, time, and place.
Looking at this astrological chart, you’ll notice that it’s divided like the spokes on a wheel, and the divisions are numbered. These are the houses, and the lines dividing the houses are called "cusps."
The eighth house cusp is the line between the numbers 7 and 8, and if you follow the line to the edge of the wheel, you’ll see that it points to the sign of Pisces. So, the eighth house cusp in this chart is located in Gemini.
Somewhere at the bottom of every chart, you will see that one of the spokes is heavier and it’s marked "IC." This is the imum coeli, the lowest part of the chart. (That's why it's associated with Hades and death.) Here, it’s in the sign of Aries.
Medical astrology is a specialty in the field which tells us that different zodiac signs rule different areas of the body.
Medical astrology is very complicated, but if your eighth house cusp, your IC, or Pluto in your chart fall into one of these signs, a problem in this area of the body may be what does you in.
In researching examples, I took note of how many horoscope charts did not obey these theories as I looked them up. In birth chart after birth chart, every single person I looked up did, except in the case where no birth time was noted and the chart was not complete.
Deaths from kidney failure seem, strangely, to be an exception to this theory, since every zodiac chart I could find with death from kidney failure had none of these elements in Libra.
In all the other cases, when the death was listed as "X as a complication of Y" when the natal chart doesn't agree with X as the cause of death, it does agree with Y. Medical astrologers may have something here.
With that said, here is how you die, as predicted by medical astrology and based on your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries is the first zodiac sign in astrology, and it represents the head.
For individuals who have this sign as their IC, they may find their greatest vulnerabilities are of the head, brain, and face.
Aries may be prone to migraine headaches, sinus congestion, and there can even be tumors of the brain.
I looked at my husband’s chart and see that his IC is in Aries. He passed away from brain cancer.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
The sign of Taurus rules the neck, throat, and esophagus.
In the chart of Kate Spade, her eighth house cusp is found in Taurus. Most of us remember the shocking news of her self-inflicted death by hanging in 2018.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini rules the hands, arms, and shoulders. It's also known as the sign of youth.
Reading this description made me think of the Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, who bled to death after having been shot in the shoulder by Yolanda Soldivar.
I wondered if her Pluto, eighth house cusp, or IC were in Gemini. Selena's IC rests at 27 degrees and 54 minutes Taurus, missing Gemini by about two degrees.
But look at what Taurus rules! The death aspect of the chart is talking about the same general area of the body.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
The sign of Cancer is said to rule the sternum and membranes that cover organs in the body, such as the dura mater and the linings of the sinuses, stomach, digestion, and the pregnant uterus.
Producer Laura Ziskin passed away from breast cancer. Although breast cancer often arises from the linings of the milk ducts in the breast, Laura's was lobular cancer, arising in the milk gland. Laura's IC fell in Cancer.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
The sign ruled by the Sun also rules the backbones and heart.
Carrie Fisher died from a heart attack and her Pluto sits right on the cusp between the signs of Leo and Virgo.
Even more interesting is the chart of Marty Balin of Jefferson Starship. He suffered a heart attack and died two years later from complications of his open-heart surgery. Both his Pluto and his IC reside in Leo.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo rules the pancreas, spleen, intestines, and liver.
The natal chart of singer Karen Carpenter is very interesting here. Karen's IC falls in Virgo, literally describing what killed her: starvation due to anorexia.
But her anorexia triggered a heart attack, which was the direct cause of death. This is described by her Pluto, which falls in Leo.
Lastly, her eighth house cusp falls in Capricorn, the planet of sadness and restrictive problems in life, which reflects her feelings of struggle and sadness.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
This sign rules the kidneys, as well as the acid/alkaline balance in the body.
This is the one sign where, no matter how many deaths due to kidney problems I research, none of these three points, the eighth house cusp, the IC, or Pluto, fall in Libra.
Either that or the natal chart is incomplete because the birth time for the person is unknown.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
My grandmother had blockage of blood flow to her intestine with gangrene of the bowel. (We don't know why, but the problem may have been a recurrence of the lymphoma she had suffered from over a decade earlier. An autopsy was not performed.)
The IC theory doesn’t seem to apply here, but her Pluto is in Cancer and her eighth house cusp is in Scorpio, which rules the prostate gland and the nonpregnant uterus, the reproductive system, and the colon.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
The sign of the archer rules the lungs, thighs, sciatic nerve, and rear end.
It also rules the IC of Italian director and screenwriter Bernardo Bertolucci, who passed away from lung cancer.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
This is the sign of old age, the gallbladder, and the knees, especially arthritis in the knees.
However, Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is also associated with difficult, depressing trials in life.
Kate Spade suffered from anxiety and depression for many years, and her IC is located in this sign.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Believe it or not, Aquarius is an Air sign, not a Water sign. It rules the calves and ankles, eyes, the spinal cord, and the blood.
My great aunt passed away from sepsis (an infection that gets into the bloodstream and affects the entire body) at age 94; all three rules seem to apply in her case.
Sepsis damages the blood vessels, causing shock, and her Pluto is in Cancer. Sepsis also lowers the blood pH; her IC is in Libra. And her eighth house cusp is in Aquarius.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces rules the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes, as well as mucus production.
However, in the case of Anthony Bourdain, you don't need medical astrology.
You can simply look at some of the more negative traditional interpretations of the Pisces sign rather than the medical ones, since his eighth house cusp is there.
Pisces has many fine qualities, but among its more negative aspects, we find drug addiction and self-destructive impulses.
Bourdain was a heavy former drug user who committed suicide by hanging.
