Outsmarting a person is literally about having a joust for who comes up with the smarter, better outcome. It takes brains and an analytical mind to outsmart a smart person, yet what fun is there if it's easy?
That's the whole point: Outsmarting others is a talent, and sometimes it takes years to master.
And when it comes to how the zodiac signs outsmart others, it really depends on their personality in astrology.
Some are discreet outsmarters; they do their deed and walk away smirking, knowing they outsmarted someone, yet not having the desire to rub it in their face. Others are nasty outsmarters, the kind that love to shout, "I told you so!" and other judgmental digs to make that person know they've been outsmarted.
Some want kudos and a prize for being the better idiot, and some just want to top another, get the thrill of knowing they did, and walk away.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries will outsmart signs by simply knowing so much more than anyone else. They also happen to get a dark thrill from outsmarting you, and will laugh at you for not catching on.
They are not shy about making you feel small, and if they can get over on you somehow, they will, and it will be their joy.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Another of the "Always Right" gang, Taurus will outsmart you simply because they believe what they say, even if it's wrong! Taurus will never admit to defeat or to being wrong, so it's very hard to outsmart them as they never claim responsibility for the actions.
If they say they're right, they're right. Just as the sky is green.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini is practically sadistic when it comes to outsmarting a person, in fact, they'll set up a scenario just to prove another wrong. It's a wild little kick they get when they show you they were right and you were wrong — if only we could learn a lesson from their "teachings."
Unfortunately, they outsmart us and never return to educate us on what went wrong.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is keen on outsmarting folks, and at first it seems as though they really do care, that they want their friends and family to learn from them. Alas, the thrill of teaching only last for a minute because when Cancer decides to outsmart you, and they make sure you feel foolish for even trying.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leo is another of the signs that laughs at you, while trying to make you feel worth their efforts. Leo naturally looks down their nose at you, and if you think you have something to offer, something to teach or share, back up.
Leo is the only one allowed to outsmart. Don't think you know more, even if you're a college professor. Leo knows more and that's final!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo couldn't care less if you outsmart them or if they outsmart you. They have no interest in comeuppance, and should they happen to outsmart you, they'll sing their victory song and that will be that.
They just don't care if you're better than them, or worse.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libra is another of the signs that secretly gets off on how you failed and how they succeeded. When it comes to outsmarting you, they take an almost fiendish stance.
It's not just about outsmarting you, it's totally about rubbing it in your face after. Childish, yes, but that's what they have to work with.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Of course Scorpio wants to outsmart you — it's their life. Their nature demands this kind of game. You are the naive fool and they are the brilliant, tortured genius.
It's all about control. They outsmart you so that you know your place, which is locked in a prison constructed by a Scorpio.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius doesn't bother trying to outsmart anyone else because that would mean engaging in some kind of communication with another human, and to Sag, that's disastrous.
They are smarter than you and can outsmart you every time, but they don't bother, because, in truth, you're not worth their effort.
