What Each Zodiac Sign Judges Others For
Everybody's judgy about something.
getty There are definitely some judgmental zodiac signs in astrology, but all of us have our moments where we act this way. We just can’t help it. Your sign may be obsessed with appearances so much so that you tend to judge how others look, what they’re wearing, or how well-groomed they are.
Sometimes, we’re not even aware that we’re judging someone else, or we do our best to subdue our thoughts. You may judge yourself in the harshest way possible and be more forgiving to others, or you could be the opposite.
For a habit that everyone has on some level, being judgmental isn't always a great personality trait. After all, unless being a judge is someone’s job, it really isn’t right to judge others, especially if you don’t want to be judged harshly yourself.
You may hold yourself up to high standards and are accountable to everyone, but that still doesn’t mean you should look down on others and find them forever lacking. Empathy is a much better quality to have anyway.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries judge others for not being optimistic enough. No matter what kind of mood Aries is in, they know things will get better and that there are always things to look forward to.
They aren't judgmental about depression or mental illness, just people who choose to look at the dark side or enjoy being negative around others, and giving them a full dose of reality.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taureans judge others for giving up too easily. If something is worth having or fighting for, you must be persistent and keep at it. They tend not to see failures and setbacks as roadblocks but as lessons and challenges.
You learn from your mistakes and try another tactic. You only give up when you've tried everything more than once, and even then, if it really matters to you, you keep going.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis judge others for others always staying home and watching TV. There are so many things to explore in the world, fun to be had, and things to try.
If you're afraid or just uninterested in the world, go out and walk around your block — anything that stimulates your mind even a little is good. But choosing routine and staying in your comfort zone at all times will get you judged.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers judge others for their lack of understanding. If they are expressing their feelings and the person just stares back at them, expressionless and without feeling, Cancer will judge them.
They need to connect with people, and when someone refuses to let down their guard and talk about how they're feeling, Cancer can't relate to them. If their body language reinforces that they're unwilling to open up, Cancer is going to judge harshly.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos try extremely hard not to judge people, but they will judge someone they think is taking more than they deserve.
If someone does a job for Leo at an agreed rate and then tries to get more money, Leo will not only judge them but will never want to work with them again. Taking something that belongs to someone else also doesn't fly with Leo.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos can be very judgmental about everybody, but the number one thing they judge people on is cleanliness, including both their environment like their house or car, and their person.
If someone's appearance is sloppy and they look dirty in any way, or their home is messy with dust bunnies and dirty dishes everywhere, Virgo is judging them and they're coming up way short.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras will judge someone if they aren't kind. Libras don't like meanness, and if someone is unkind to an animal, an elderly person, or anyone really, Libra will judge them unfavorably.
If someone who was pregnant or disabled came on a crowded bus or train, and someone refused to give up their chair (without a good reason), Libra would hold that against them for a long time. It's as if the person was tried in a court, found guilty, and sentenced to be punished.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios judge others for being unfaithful. There are so many things cheaters do that Scorpios can't tolerate: they lie, they betray, and they show themselves to be untrustworthy.
Someone's affair doesn't have to directly affect Scorpio for them to be judgmental about it and form some very pointed opinions. They have a lot of empathy, so they can understand what the person who was cheated on feels.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius individuals judge people who aren't straightforward. If someone is deliberately trying to avoid saying the truth, Sagittarius will have no patience for them at all.
It's not just liars these individuals judge; it's people who dance around the truth, deliberately causing confusion and upset. It doesn't make something painful go away by not just saying it outright; instead, it just prolongs the pain.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns will judge people on their job or lack of job. How people make their living is very important, and they don't respect people who don't have a good work ethic or spend their money unwisely.
Capricorns tend to think that people who are careless with their money are lacking in character and backbone. If you're in trouble financially, you do what you can to dig yourself out of your predicament, even if that means taking on another job or creating a side-hustle for yourself.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians judge people who are too close-minded. If someone refuses to accept a change or won't see the possibilities of a new idea or concept, Aquarius will judge them.
They try to be open to things that are untried and have some risk attached to them. This is how their mind expands and how they're able to think beyond what has already been discovered. Everything is always evolving, and if you're not open to accept that change, Aquarius will think less of you.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces tend to judge people who are selfish and self-serving. If the only person you consider is yourself, you're not adding anything to the world.
They don't want to judge people and tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. But if someone can't get outside themselves long enough to help others who need it, you're just not Pisces' kind of person.
