Meet Haley Ferguson — The Blonde Bombshell Shaking Things Up On 'Bachelor In Paradise'
Haley Ferguson is back for her third go on 'Bachelor in Paradise.'
The last time Bachelor fans saw Haley Ferguson she was part of a matched set. Haley and her twin sister Emily have made three prior appearances on Bachelor shows: first showing up on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor then hanging out in Paradise for two seasons in a row.
Now Haley is back in Paradise but without her sister, who has a serious boyfriend unrelated to any reality show dating antics. Haley says she's looking for a goofy guy of her own this time and she's ready to jump in feet first with John Paul Jones.
Who is Haley Ferguson? Read on for all the details.
1. Ben's Bachelor season
Haley and her twin sister Emily were on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor in 2016. At the time, they listed their profession as "The Twins," though it turned out they were actually both restaurant servers. The two of them got far enough to take Ben to their mom's house in Vegas for what was billed as a "sister date," but Ben sent Haley home after that episode. Emily made it a few weeks longer but ultimately failed to keep Bachelor Ben interested and she was sent home in week 7. Ben ultimately chose Lauren Bushnell and the two made a go of being engaged for a year before finally breaking up in 2017.
2. Freeform: Twins Happily Ever After
Ben and Lauren got a spinoff on Freeform in the year following their Bachelor season together and they weren't the only one. Hollywood Life notes that the idea of twins who were willing to compete for the same guy on TV was compelling enough for Freeform to offer the same deal to the Ferguson sisters. Their show The Twins: Happily Ever After? followed the twins as they tried to live their lives and date but it didn't make enough of a splash to keep going. It was canceled after one season.
The twins are still best friends.
3. Bachelor in Paradise
When their own reality show didn't pan out, the next logical step was for the twins to return to their roots and try another Bachelor Nation franchise. They joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise for season 3, arriving partway through the season. Elite Daily reports that Brandon Andreen asked Haley out but the twins decided it would be more fun to mess with a date than to actually try to make a connection. Emily tagged along when Haley went out with Brandon and they switched places halfway through the evening. Brandon didn't notice. The twins left the show on their own shortly after that because they didn't feel a connection with anyone.
4. Bachelor in Paradise again
Never ones to shy away from reality show cameras, the twins agreed to return for season four of Bachelor in Paradise. They were the last ones to arrive that season, which they felt put them at a disadvantage. Emily told US Weekly: “The end is kind of just a disaster because everybody’s coupled up. I definitely don’t think we would have gone if we knew we were the last." In their attempts to stand out they were mean to everyone in sight and left everyone around them feeling sour about their participation in the show. Later in the interview, Haley commented: “We said some really, really awful things that we wish we could take back." Emily agreed and said "I also think that we thought we were being funny. But then looking back on it, it really wasn’t funny at all.”
5. Time away from cameras
It's been two years now since either twin appeared on Bachelor in Paradise. In the meantime, Emily has gotten involved with William Karlsson, who plays hockey for the Las Vegas Golden Knights. According to The Heavy, the two have been together for several years and moved in together in June. Haley, meanwhile, has started teaching pilates at a studio in Las Vegas. Haley is still single.

6. Bachelor in Paradise one more time
Haley showed up on the Paradise set mid-season and seems to be legitimately hoping to meet someone special. She asked out John Paul Jones in her first week and he accepted her offer. The two of them rode horses, kissed on the beach, and generally appeared to have a good time. Unfortunately for Haley, she has competition for his affections. JPJ is already hung up on Tayisha, though those feelings aren't reciprocal, and one of the other newer arrivals, Tahzjuan has her sights set on him as well, which could make things a little tense.
Will this finally be the season that Haley walks away from a Bachelor Nation show with a boyfriend? Stay tuned to see.
