Petrina Ryan-Kleid Is The Artist Who Painted Bill Clinton In A Blue Dress — How Did Jeffrey Epstein End Up With It?
Well color me intrigued!
Petrina Ryan-Kleid is an New York based artist and art promoter. When she was in college she painted a series of presidential paintings poking fun at their most infamous alleged scandals. After a few years went by one of her paintings, titled Parsing Bill, which featured Bill Clinton in a tasteful blue cocktail dress and statement red pumps, was found in the home of infamous deceased sexual predator, Jeffery Epstein. This has all of us wondering, who is Petrina Ryan-Kleid?
1. She attended New York Academy of art
Petrina is an Australian born artist who was living in New York City attending the New York Academy of Art. After graduation she worked as a studio assistant for famed artist Jeff Koons. Koons is known for his recreation of regular everyday objects, most famously balloon animals. Ryan-Kleid doesn't have many of her own works on a platform that reaches the masses. She has most recently been working in social media marketing for other New York based artists.
2. She had no idea who bought her painting
When Ryan-Kleid heard that her painting, Parsing Bill, ended up in Epstein's home, she was completely surprised! She released a public statement saying just that. "In 2012, as a grad student at the New York Academy of Art, I painted pictures of Presidents Clinton and Bush as part of my Master’s thesis. When the school put on a fundraiser at the Tribeca Ball that year, they sold my painting to one of the attendees. I had no idea who the buyer was at the time. As with most of my paintings, I had completely lost track of this piece when it was sold seven years ago. So it was a complete surprise to me to learn yesterday that it wound up in Epstein’s home."
3. She has another famous presidential painting
She had a painting of another president that was popular a few years ago. She painted a portrait of George Bush sitting on the floor of the oval office, holding a paper airplane. Next two him were two small piles of Jenga blocks, and a second paper airplane. Many people have suggested that this was a reference to September 11. Ryan-Kleid has not commented on the painting.
4. A painting of conspiracy!
Because of the photo realistic quality to the painting, a lot of people have taken to social media to suggest that it is not a painting at all but an edited photograph. Some people have suggested that it is supposed to be the famed Monica Lewinsky blue dress that he is wearing. Others think that it is reminiscent of a dress his wife, Hilary wore.
The most common reaction to the painting is redirection. A lot of people are using the painting as a platform to announce their belief in the possibility that the Clintons were involved in Epstein's death. President Trump notably re-tweeted Terrance Williams who said it would have been nearly impossible for someone to commit suicide on 24 hour suicide watch. Of course, the prison has since admitted that Epstein was no longer on suicide watch at the time of his death.
5. Epstein had other strange art
While the portrait of Bill Clinton is a strange piece of art for someone to hang in their home, it could be completely overlooked considering some of the other artwork Epstein displayed. In one of his homes he has a hallway lined with eyeballs. What is perhaps the strangest piece of art he commissioned is a human sized chess board, with figurines carved in the likeness of his employees, all dressed only in their underwear. Bill Clinton in a dress seems pretty strange by itself, but when paired with all of these other strange models and decor, it could easily be overlooked.
6. Epstein and Clinton friendship
It appears that Jeffery Epstein and former President Bill Clinton once had something of friendship. In fact, the former president had 21 different contacts in the convicted pedophile's phone book. It has been reported that the two cut ties in 2005 after Epstein's first conviction, well before he would have purchased the painting. Before their friendship ended however, it was said the two flew together on Epstein's private jet multiple times between the years 2002 and 2005.
