Who Is Amai Zachary Wayans? New Details About Marlon Wayan's LBGTQ Daughter
Member of the LBGTQ community, Marlon shows his support.
Having a family member who supports who you are and the decisions that you make is what every child wants to experience in their family but not everyone is as fortunate as Amai to have a loving and supportive father. Marlon Wayans kills his enemies with kindness as they speak negative comments about his daughter Amai Wayans. The support is displayed on social media as he tells the world about his daughter, showcasing pride for being part of the LBGTQ community. Who is Amai Zachary Wayans?
1. The Apple Of Daddy's Eyes
Amai Zachary Wayans is 19-years-old and attends the University of Southern California where she recently finished her freshman year. Social Media may not be this Gen Z's preference because her social accounts are nonexistent. Amai classifies herself now as a male-identified lesbian (MIL). The relationship between the two is beautifully inspiring and shows a great example of what a bond is like with a girl and her father.
2. Pride Month, Proud Father
Marlon expresses his deep rooted love for his daughter with a personal statement on Instagram to featuring his daughter showing off a rainbow bottomed sneaker representing pride. He captioned the photo: “Happy pride to my pride and joy, I wouldn’t change one effing thing about you, Love you to the moon around the sun through the galaxies and back again.” You can't help but tear up after reading those words.
3. Supportive Dad Award
Although Amai's father has wonderful and delightful things to say about his daughter, unfortunately many people have not been gracious with their words towards her. Nevertheless, Marlon puts on his superman cape and fights back against the negative comments. Graciously he combats the naysayers with: “I thought of erasing them but I need the world to see the ignorance that still exists. Objective without obstacles is a worthless triumph. We all will some day get to unconditional love. Because of my daughter I am one step closer. I am not God, I don’t judge I just LOVE. And still pray for the haters because I refuse to judge them too I just love.”
4. Parenting Style
On Entertainment Tonight in August 2017, Marlon spoke about wanting an open line of communication with his children. Trying to decide how to be there and love your child through anything? Follow Wayans' lead as he is earning many dad points for his support. Real conversations is the end goal, he wants a relationship that is not possessive but a friendship. Instead of sneaking around he wuld like his children to be able to open up to him.
