Who Is Connor S.? New Details On 'The Bachelorette' Fan Favorite And How Far He Goes
TL;DR his Instagram handle is the pun-iest.
Instagram Connor Saeli is 6’6, 24-years-old, and more active than me during all my staunch gym going days combined. He swims, runs, flies (airplanes), skis and lifts. Now that we know what he does with his body, what does he do with his mind? Who is Connor S.?
1. He is in finance
Though he looks like one, Connor isn’t a model or an influencer. He works in “Special Situations” at Goldman Sachs doing things like principal investing and lending directly to middle market companies. According to his LinkedIn, he’s been doing that all through his college summers. I wonder if his internships were paid or if he sold his soul for the betterment of his career like every other millennial.
2. His Instagram
In his free time he posts conventional photos of himself doing the aforementioned sports I wish I could afford to do. (Connor, if you’re reading this, please platonically take me dune buggy driving). His handle isn’t @connorthereal or @saeliofficial or any boring variation of the sort. It’s a witty pun: @consaelaway (like “Come Sail Away”). It even beats Ashton Kutcher at @aplusk. It’s also so fitting because Hannah’s username is some cute alliteration, too (@alabamahannah).
I’m especially impressed by his pun on the show itself, though. When he exited the limo to greet Hannah, he told her that he was “really excited to hear that you were the next bachelorette. And for me, in starting a relationship, it’s really important that we’re on the same level.” So he whips out this customized stepstool so he and short Hannah could “see eye to eye” as they “start this journey together.” I don’t even watch this show on the regular and I’m smitten.
3. He's an avid traveler
In just his latest Instagram posts alone, he’s apparently been to Mexico,Texas (wait, I think he lives there); the Dominican Republic, California, Michigan, Utah, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Andorra, Monaco and Florida.
4. He's close to his family
Perhaps the most heartwarming trait of all — Connor is super close with his family, which consists of a sister, Sarah, two brothers, Brent and Tyler, a sister-in-law (Tyler’s wife, Kate), and their baby, Izzy. They travel somewhere all together every year for Christmas.
