The new Netflix film The Dirt takes a no-holds-barred look at the formation and rise of the iconic rock band Motley Crue. From their childhoods (mostly troubled) to the formation of the band and their journey towards worldwide fame, the movie tells the (mostly) true story of one of the wildest and most notorious bands of the 1980s hair metal scene. Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee founded the band in 1981 and added Mick Mars and Vince Neil to the lineup. During his time as a member of Motley Crue, Nikki Sixx became addicted to heroin. In the book The Heroin Diaries he is quoted as saying "Alcohol, acid, cocaine...they were just affairs. When I met heroin it was true love." He estimates he overdosed "about half a dozen times" and at the height of his addiction was spending $1,000 a day on heroin. Through all of that mayhem he got married a few times and had a bunch of kids. Who is Nikki Sixx's wife?

5. And baby makes three...

Courtney Bingham Sixx is about six months pregnant with her first and Nikki's fifth child. She is expecting a baby girl. Wait what? Didn't Nikki have a vasectomy? Yes, he did. Sixx had a vasectomy back in 2007 after he and his second wife, Donna D'Errico, got divorced. About that he said: "I was once married to someone named Satan, and I said, 'I'm not going to live the rest of my life in court fighting over child support, so I don't ever want to do this again." But all of that changed when he met Courtney. "I remember thinking, 'I miss those days, I miss being a dad. I didn't have a father, and I always loved being a father. It's an itch I can't scratch. My kids are older, and I have a great relationship with them." Rather than have his vasectomy reversed, Sixx underwent a sperm retrieval process and he and Bingham used artificial insemination to concieve their child.
