Who Is On Celebrity Big Brother Season 2? New Cast Details, Info And Spoilers
Including why two original castmates reportedly quit.
A CBS casting insider released the apparent full Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 cast list on Twitter.
While the iconic reality TV show, hosted by Julie Chen, typically airs all throughout the summer, last year CBS pulled together a group of “celebrities” for a roughly month-long version of the show.
Celebrity Big Brother’s first season included names like UFC fighter Chuck Liddell, Sugar Ray vocalist Mark McGrath, and infamous reality TV alum Omarosa, with Broadway musical star Marissa Jaret Winokur ultimately crowned winner of the season.
The inaugural season of Celebrity Big Brother was clearly a hit because the show was able to pull together another pretty interesting cast for Season 2.
According to the insider, who goes by the Twitter handle @BBSecretSusan, some of the biggest names of the Season 2 cast include:
Aubrey O'Day
Perhaps known best for her alleged affair with Donald Trump Jr., O’Day is no stranger to reality television. She first earned fame as a member of Making the Band’s musical group Danity Kane and later for her marriage to Jersey Shore’s Pauly D.
Dina Lohan
Just as Lindsay Lohan is making her return to the spotlight with her MTV show chronicling her Greek Beach Club business, her mom Dina will apparently try her hand at winning Celebrity BB. According to a Radar Online report, Dina was offered $100,000 just for appearing on the show.
Jonathan Bennett
Another connection to Lindsay Lohan! Mean Girls actor Bennett will appear alongside Lindsay’s mom Dina. He might have a better chance of winning if he pushes his hair back.
Johnny Bananas
Bananas (whose last name is really Devenanzio) has made a big name for himself in the reality TV world. The MTV alum got his start on Real World: Key West and has since become the face of the network’s The Challenge series. The Challenge recently started inviting Big Brother houseguests to appear on the show, so now the crossover is complete.
Sean Spicer
Spicer formerly served as Donald Trump’s White House Communications Director and Press Secretary. Unfortunately for Spicer, there are no bushes to hide behind in the Big Brother house when things get tough.
Stephen Baldwin
For better or worse, the Baldwin name is big in Hollywood. This Baldwin is the father of the new Hailey Bieber.
Tonya Harding
Harding is a retired figure skater, who you may know from the recent film I, Tonya. No stranger to scandal, she should feel at home in the Big Brother house.
Along with Calvin Johnson, Carson Kressley, Eva Marie, and Tiffany Pollard (or, as reality TV addicts know her, New York from VH1’s Flavor of Love).
According to the casting insider, Bananas and Marie were last-minute additions to the cast after two additional contestants dropped out.
Newsweek revealed that the two original houseguests were Caitlyn Jenner and Bobby Moynihan, reporting that another Big Brother insider account tweeted that Jenner and Moynihan quit due to discrepancies in payment for cast members.
Season 2 of Celebrity Big Brother premieres on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 8 PM on CBS.
