getty Whenever you hear someone described as spunky, they seem to be talking about a small child or an older person. No young adult or middle-aged person wants to be described as spunky. Calling someone this term can sometimes come off as a little condescending and obnoxious, but it's actually a compliment.
If someone has a spunky personality, would it be due in some part to astrology? If your zodiac sign is one that tends to face their fears and stands up for they believe in, it has a lot to do with your personality. The spunky zodiac signs are brave, bold, and fearless. They may not think of themselves as brave, but they still never hesitate when they need to defend someone, or an idea, or themselves.
You can’t hold a spunky person down — they’re fighters and assertive no matter what their age is. They like to have fun and live large. Spunky people tend to be impulsive because they often act without thinking things through. They react to what’s happening and then they act without overthinking or even considering the consequences.

1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are the personification of spunky. They're impulsive, determined, and adventurous. An Aries individual will go the extra mile to help someone. They're the ones who do more than they have to at work or even at home.
They're polite without being weak, generous without keeping score, and they tend to see the bright side of life. Aries are lively and the last thing they want to do is stagnate and do nothing, so they take chances, do new things, and try to be fearless.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos have a captivating and spunky personality. They're known for being brave, looking out for people, and standing up for what they believe in. They're natural leaders and make it a point to help others when they can.
When they do help someone else, they don't expect anything in return and they don't keep a tally. Leos are just altruistic people who pay it forward always. What makes them so spirited and persistent is their incredible optimism and positive energy.

Scorpios don't care if, when they're advocating for someone or a cause, they rock the boat. They are going to speak up regardless because it's important to them that they make a difference. They can't stand idly by when they see some kind of injustice.

Geminis do something that may not seem spunky or brave but is: they choose to be happy. It's not that they don't keep up with what's going on in the world or that they block out anything negative in their lives, it's that they try to see the good in people and the humor in life.
Geminis are extremely intelligent, and they will fight for the things they believe in. They're true advocates and humanitarians. Geminis are the ones protesting, giving their time and money to charitable causes, and standing up for what's right.
5. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Sometimes something small is the bravest thing you can do. One of the things that Pisces do is to take responsibility when they've done something wrong and to apologize. There's a lot of power in saying that you're sorry, and many people aren't courageous enough to do it.
Pisces will always help those who need it, and they're very generous with second chances. They will give someone the benefit of the doubt and take a chance that whatever unkind or irresponsible thing that the person did before, they won't do it again. Sometimes Pisces gets burned, but they still remain compassionate.
