However, Jersey Shore recently saw a major spike in popularity this year when the stars of the show reunited for a continuation of the series in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Of course, this brought the cast right back into the center of the public eye and this is no more apparent than with JWoww herself.

In October 2012, Mathews proposed to JWoww. However, the couple waited three years before finally getting married in October 2015. The reality star made a comment on her excitement for the big day. "Roger is my perfect man in every way and he is the best daddy to Meilani that I could ever ever ask for," she wrote on her website at the time. "He accepts me in every way and I am more in love with him than ever!"

Roger gets up for work at 4:30 AM every morning too … all that sexiness goes away after kids … The kids come first. I have spit up on me. My hair’s up in a pony like, ‘Go away.'”

The reality star recently filed for divorce from Mathews. But, she also revealed that she had thought about getting divorced in the past.

In an episode of Family Vacation, JWoww explained to a few of her fellow female cast members why she had almost separated from Mathews after they got into a discussion about how their significant others felt about them returning to the Jersey Shore. “It’s a whole insecurity thing," Farley said, claiming that Mathews' insecurities "almost led to divorce."

6. Did they cheat on each other?

Rumors of the couple cheating on each other have been surrounding the pair for a while. In January 2018, Mathews took to Instagram where he claimed that she had left him for another man and that she was having a "midlife crisis." However, he later revealed that it was all just a joke and went on to voice his admiration for JWoww.

But, Mathews has had his own share of cheating rumors made against him. After filing for divorce, some speculated that he may have cheated on JWoww and that caused the end of their marriage. Mathews was quick to shut them down by taking to Instagram and explaining that although it was true he was separating from the reality star, cheating was not the reason for the divorce. He also noted that the former couple would be attending counseling to work out their issues.

In 2016, Farley explained that cheating would be their marriage's ultimate deal breaker. "Thank god we have never had to deal with that," she said. "But I definitely wouldn't say it's not an option, because if you are truly unhappy, you shouldn't stay in a relationship. To me, there's no happily ever after unless you truly work for it."

8. Why are JWoww and Roger getting divorced?

According to TMZ, JWoww filed for divorce, reportedly claiming their marriage has been falling apart for at least six months. It appears Mathews wasn't quite ready to give up on their relationship and revealed on Instagram why he thinks Jwoww threw in the towel. “I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s—t, any juicy details," he said on Instagram. "She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … Again, I’m not gonna get into detail, but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”
