getty With the way we've all structured our lives, it's easy to relate to the idea of not being able to focus. Yet, focus is needed in our day to day lives, and this has become a tall order for those of us who tend to go "ohh shiny!" over every little distraction that hits us.
Now that we pepper our daily lives with endless social media interaction, we'd be unique if we could say that we are amongst the focused zodiac signs in astrology. Focus comes hard these days, as evident by our reluctance to read and listen to our horoscopes, and with all of the distractions we have thrown at us at any given moment, it takes a very disciplined person to set up priorities and make executive decisions as to what must be paid attention to in order of importance.
Focus is what gets us where we want to go; it's that fine tuned vision that we need to hold on to in order to have things like ambition, or success, or contentment. Without focus, we are scattered, mindless, and ready to become dissolved in the vortex of our phone apps.
Some folks are focused. And some folks are very focused. Who in our line up are the most focused zodiac signs?
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Oh, that word! "Headstrong" isn't just about smashing one's head into a wall. In the case of Aries, it's their tool; they are driven, focused and one-pointed when they want something to happen.
Aries knows what they want, and sometimes they can even cross the line between focus and obsession. Well, actually, all the time.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Think bullfight. Red cape. Matador. That's focus. And that is how it is when you're a Taurus.
You see the goal, you focus real hard on how you're going to get that goal, and then no matter what the cost, you go for it. Taurus is ultimately the most focused sign of the zodiac.
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Another strong, fiery sign. As a point of pride, Leo will focus in on what they want and they simply won't let go until everyone knows they've accomplished a great feat.
Leo wants the kudos that come with great accomplishment, and to get them, they know they cannot be swayed by petty distraction; focus is where they develop those Leonine qualities. Spot your target and pounce!
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
While Libras tend to go off on tangents and lose their focus, they most certainly intend to stay on track and intention alone gets them far.
Libra can self-sabotage by over-analyzing a situation, meaning if they focus on a subject, they tend to get lost in the analysis of the subject and lose the reason they got into it in the first place. Focus is key for Libra, but getting lost is part of their result.
5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
If focus is as a result of practiced discipline, then Scorpio is a master of focus, to say the last. This sign enjoys the idea of singularity — one thing to explore, fully.
They may not always go about their business in a cordial manner, but they get things done. Think: Scorpion in the desert. Smaller creature is spotted, up goes that menace of a "tail." Eek. Good focus there, bug.
6. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
In a way, this sign is capable of the most intense focus, but they are also simultaneously distracted by so many of the other intense focuses they have. Because Sagittarians are the most "interested" and curious of the signs, it's hard to focus on just one of the miracles of life.
Still, when they decide to throw it all in for one project, you'd think they did nothing in their life but that one thing.
