While we are still wondering who killed 20-year-old rapper XXXTentacion in a drive-by shooting in Miami on Monday, June 18, it appears we now at least know his official cause of death: a gunshot wound to the neck.

He is believed to have died almost immediately, arriving at the hospital in a state police classified as a "level 1 trauma, gunshot wound," his condition further described as "comatose."

Amid the onslaught of conspiracy related death theories circulating online, a new report from TMZ, who first broke the story of his murder earlier this week, answers the key question of how he died, revealing an eye witness account that "a bullet struck XXX in the neck — and he went immediately limp — losing all signs of life, including pulse."
