7 Workaholic Zodiac Signs That Need To Relax And Take A Long Vacation

getty Workaholics aren’t just people who work a lot, they’re people who are driven to keep working. And sometimes, these workaholic zodiac signs work a little too hard and for too many hours.
These people are determined, hard-working (obviously), and tend to make their work a high priority. And a horoscope that encourages them to strive to do better is one they won't soon forget.
According to astrology, many workaholics are born under the sign of Capricorn. Every quality that you need to be a workaholic, they’ve got. They’re known for their ambition, their focus, and their practicality. Capricorns are the people in the office who don't utilize every single one of their sick or vacation days. They would have to be incapacitated by sickness to call in sick, and even then, they might still come in.
For workaholics, having a work-life balance is something they struggle with. They know they shouldn't work 80 hour-weeks, but they feel powerless to stop. Workaholics tend to treat their life as a sprint instead of a journey. Focusing all your energy and time on work will make you miss so much.
1. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns definitely take hard-working to extremes. Money is very important to them as is having a strong financial foundation for the future. Capricorns always want to be able to provide for themselves and their family — they don't believe in relying on the kindness of strangers.
They tend to measure their success in life by how often they get pay increases and promotions. They won't plan a vacation unless they feel that they have a financial safety net. It's okay because when it comes to working, Capricorns keep going until they drop.
2. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
When a Scorpio is focused on something, they don't stop until it's been completed. That means they miss lunch, dinner, and rarely take a break. If they're really hungry, they might eat at their desk.
Scorpios get consumed by their jobs, especially if it's a step toward the career they ultimately want to have. Scorpios are intense, so it's a good idea not to interrupt them when they're working unless it is very important; a Scorpio can get highly irritated if you break their concentration.
3. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus are another sign who keeps working long after their colleagues have gone home. If Taurus is having a problem and can't figure something out, they'll keep at it further. They're stubborn, and when it comes to work, even more so. They want to get the job done and have it done well.
They don't understand that sometimes you need to step away from a project to get a new perspective. Taurus definitely put in the time, even when their bodies are crying for a good night's sleep.
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are terrifically hard-working, and one of the reasons is because they're rarely satisfied. They keep striving to do better and want to be able to turn in projects that are perfect. Some of that need for perfection for themselves can spill over on to the work that their co-workers or team members do.
Virgo has impossibly high standards for everybody which can lead to conflict. Virgos need to realize that there can be job satisfaction in a job that's been done well, even if it wasn't done entirely perfect.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Why are Aries people workaholics? Because they constantly take on too much and overschedule themselves. Aries don't want to let anybody down, so even if they have too much on their plate, they'll plow through it the best that they can.
Aries really need to prioritize, and if they have to turn a project down, they should realize that it's okay if they can't please everybody.
6. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
If Gemini has a job they love, they're fascinated by it and that job infiltrates their life. They constantly think about their work, even when they're off the clock. Their work can distract them from their life.
They're as likely to solve a problem that's been tormenting them at work as they are making a work to-do list in their head during family dinner. Geminis may worry that they'll get off-track if they're not always in work mode.
7. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Because Leos are so connected, they tend to be workaholics. Leos are the type of person who checks their email many times a day, even when they're not working. If a work email comes in over the weekend, Leo will attend to it.
They don't let anything go; they're afraid if they don't handle it right that moment, it will never get done. Leo needs to learn how to disconnect and believe that their work won't collapse without them.
