People that are cold tend to be cold for a reason. They may be hinting at an emotional need that isn’t being met (it seems passive aggressive, I know, but keep in mind, it may not be a conscious thing).

Another possibility is that they’re just honest to the point of brutality (as is the case for the Aries zodiac sign). Not everybody understands that they’re being mean. “Mean” is subjective, after all.

Consideration mixed with a great sense of humor will make the Sagittarius come across as incredibly agreeable and great to be around when you first meet. However, after a while you will notice a tendency towards being impatient and saying the most tactless things.

The Scorpio is the most likely out of the zodiac signs to be what one would consider a “true friend”. Their calm and cool behavior mixed with their ability to express their emotions make them seem genuine and likeable. These things make them come across as incredibly nice when you first get to know them.
Once you get to know them better, however, you will begin to notice that their ability to express their emotions means that they will express even the negative ones and they tend to have violent tendencies that make them way colder than the average person.

4. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
The Virgo’s tend to be loyal and kind, which make them come across as very agreeable, at first. However, over time you will notice that the Virgo is also very practical and overly critical of others. This, mixed with their tendency to put work ahead of play; will make them come across as cold eventually.

5. Leo (July 23 - August 22)
At first, Leo will come across as warm, funny, cheery, and generous. All of which will make your first impression of them: “wow! What a nice person!”
