Zodiac Signs Who Live Up To Their Stereotypes And Hint: They're Not Good

So predictable, these signs.

Stereotypes always seem so all-encompassing and unfair, don’t they? Yet, stereotypes are usually based on one or two realities that stuck in the minds of those who came to associate that group or type of person with whatever it is they're associated with, no matter what your horoscope says otherwise.

Like, the unfair idea that “all Southerners” are hick morons. That’s not fair, is it? Yet, when it comes down to it, if you aren’t living in the Great South and you don’t know some Great Southerners, you might just follow along on the path of ignorance and agree with the stereotype.

Still, something must have happened somewhere along the lines to create the initial stereotype example. Maybe it was the Confederacy and all that nasty racism they became known for? But that certainly doesn’t mean that the entire South is made of up racists.

Just as it is with Germany, Hitler really f*cked that one up for the Germans of today. Most people automatically jump to the conclusion that Germans are naturally inclined towards Nazism.

Watch the video below to see how people react to the stereotypes of their culture:

And are all Japanese into kinky tentacle sex, with all Asian women being submissive, weepy porn stars who are fondled on trains by multiple horny Japanese businessmen? I have a feeling there are quite a few Japanese women who get very angry over this stereotype. And this stereotype is followed by the one that says all men desire a submissive Asian female who only wants to moan and act giddily tortured as she’s happily raped.

We jump to conclusions and then they become comfortable. That’s how stereotypes begin. We get comfortable perceiving a group of people in their worst state and we make it a reality in our minds.

The signs of the zodiac have always come with absolutes, and the more one’s houses fall in line with the original sun sign (as in Leo, with Leo rising, Leo in the first house, etc.) the easier it is to find stereotypical behavior. So, what are the stereotypes of zodiac signs and which signs show the strongest stereotypical behavior?

1. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)

Everything you’ve heard about sensitive Pisces can be true. They weep, they cry, they take everything to heart. While they can process their weepy feelings well in art and creativity, they are also the first ones to sink into depression and make themselves into the biggest and most dreaded martyrs of the entire zodiac.

2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

You’ve heard of the stubborn Taurus. Of course you have. These folks love to get stuck and stay stuck. They simply will not budge if they decide that budging is not in their wheelhouse. While they may be one of the kindest signs of the zodiac, they are also impossible to sway when their opinion is on the line. It’s not that they think they’re always right, it’s that what’s right for them is the only game in town, and they will live up to that bullish stereotype in order to get their way, when they want it, how they want it.

3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)

Decisions, decisions. The hippy dippy flower child of the zodiac may also be a smart and creative cookie, but when it comes to actually making a decision and acting on it, fuggedaboudit. If you are waiting on a Gemini to make a choice, you may end up waiting forever. The indecisiveness of a Gemini makes them live up to the stereotypes of zodiac signs. It's such a stereotypical calling card that they should actually go get cards printed up that say, “I’m indecisive.” Then again, trying to figure out which printer to go to might blow all of Gemini’s fuses at once.

4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)

Virgo the perfectionist. Virgo the critic, the unsatisfied. Virgo, who is the president of the Blame Game club. Virgo, who projects all of their own inadequacies onto anyone but themselves. It’s hard to beat this stereotype when so much of what you do is hurtful to others. Virgo is the one to look at the person in the wheelchair and make fun of them — that’s how sweet-natured they are... not. Virgo lives up to the stereotype of being the biggest bitch of the zodiac.

5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

Sexual and violent, says the stereotype of Scorpio. And yes, it’s true, but the sexy part? It’s the hype that proceeds them, and they want you to buy into that whole “I’m scary” vibe. Once you see past the stereotype of Scorpio’s “sexy, scary” ways, you’ll see another schmoe, trying to adopt a personality to make people respect them. Being that they don’t trust the idea that they’re good enough without the show, they refer again and again to “acting” sexy, and coming off like they’re some deadly yet glamorous creature of the night. Buy the stereotype and you’ll find out sooner or later that it’s all hot air.
