15 Inspiring Quotes About Life From Famous Women We ADORE
The ladies are TOTALLY inspirational.
If you have strong, empowering women in your life you can turn to when you need some help navigating life’s rocky road, consider yourself lucky. Not everyone has that, including myself, and sometimes I just need a good kick in the butt to get going. I mean, who doesn’t, right?
Back in the day (I can’t believe I’m really even using that phrase—I’m OLD), there were so few women in the media for us to look up to. Actually, they were there but our access to them was very limited. Now that celebrities, authors, and entrepreneurs are ALL over social media, we’re able to connect in a way we never did before.
It’s amazing that you can click a few buttons on your phone, and have the ability to shoot off a text to, say, Hillary Clinton. THAT BLOWS MY MIND! At what point in our history were we EVER able to communicate with someone of such high regard?
We are so incredibly privileged that we live in a time period with women who can share their talent, their brain, and their heart. We are blessed to have such an unbelievable pool of women to choose from to look up to.
It’s OK if we don’t have a strong mother figure, or best girlfriends to text all day. It’s OK if we don’t share our ideals with the people we work with. That’s what is so wonderful about 2016 (don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot WRONG with 2016, too).
The world is flush with powerful women who deserve credit for sharing their thoughts and their positive influence on our lives. Thank you to the fascinating, dynamic, and influential women in this post.
Thank you to all women, for continuing to move the world, one step at a time.
