When you first date someone it can be an exercise in trial and error just trying to figure out someone's personality and if they're a good match for you. If you know someone's zodiac sign, you can get insider information on what turns them on and what turns them off. Find out what yours are.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Turn Ons: The way to the Aries' heart is through their head as they really appreciate someone who is smart but doesn't overpower them with their intelligence. They enjoy someone who is up for the challenge, clever, and a great conversationist. 

Turn Offs: While the Aries individual certainly admires someone who is physically fit, you can be a fitness model but if you open your mouth and a steady stream of stupid comes out, Aries loses interest fast. They also don't like neediness, over-emotional exchanges, complaining about being too hot or cold, and people who are so full of themselves that they don't even ask any questions of someone else.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Turn Ons: Taureans are turned on by a hot body, someone who dresses very nicely, and who laughs at their jokes.

Turn Offs: What makes a Taurus lose interest fast is someone who babbles incessantly, is sloppy and overly demanding.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Turn Ons: If you want to capture a Gemini's attention, give them a little intrigue by playing hard to get. Geminis are attracted to people who are up for anything, who make eye contact and give them a lot of freedom.

Turn Offs: Leos don't find people with bad manners, crappy attitudes, and a lack of ambition attractive at all. But the biggest turn off to a Leo is a lie — lie to a Leo and they're gone.

Turn Ons: If you're an informed person who appreciates Virgo's opinions and good taste, that will go over very well with them. They also really like people who love animals, are charitable and well-dressed.

Turn Offs: Virgos don't enjoy hot dog stands or dive bars, so don't take them there if you want to impress them on a date. They also don't like people who have dandruff or any other sign of poor hygiene. Another thing that Virgos detest are long, detailed explanations of surgery or medical procedures. Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Turn Ons: Libras are hooked by someone who's good-looking, charming, and knows fashion. They also adore readers, movie-goers, and concert attendees, especially those who go out of a love of art not to be trendy.

Turn Offs: Libras don't respond well to people who are jealous, have credit-card debt, are arrogant and who enjoy arguing for sport.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
